Happy Holidays!

Tintaye has created this light-hearted short-film ‘Christmas Without You’ to celebrate the festive season.

Inspired by the song ‘Christmas Without You’ by Ava Maxx, the story we wanted to tell was about those magical moments when we unexpectedly meet a stranger, a lost love, or an old friend, and how that singular experience can have the power to light up our entire world, sometimes just for a day.

Creatively, the mission was to take advantage of the many stunning Christmas installations scattered throughout Toronto and set our story amidst those backdrops. The intention was to shoot it simply, and accentuate those classic Christmas colors wherever possible.

With so much going on in the world as we enter into a new year, we wanted to share some material that captured the purity and joyful nature of the Christmas season.

Special thanks to our performers, who made this vision come to life with a beautiful, playful, and child-like essence. This film was shot very simply on a cell phone, in the freezing cold of December, and our friends were troopers throughout the whole process.
